New Books - New Ideas

Well as I write this post, Christmas of 2018 has passed and brought great gifts, including 2 new books and new ideas to the mix.  Are they are.

Boxes, boxes and boxes

This is a book that I had my eyes for a little while.  I really like small boxes and in the process to add them to my routine of woodworking.  Dont be surprise that some of them are added to my personal collection and some of them to appear in the store in the near future.  Most of my doing will be documented here as different blog posts.  I have only started to read the book and it is pretty awesome so far.  One note, as many have already commented in different online source, this is not a how-to or show and tell book.  It is mostly oriented on the design aspect of the box making so please don't be surprise if you don't see any specific step by step instruction to the relative boxes that he shows in the book.  I looked at the content briefly by looking at the pictures of the different boxes and they are very nice clean shots and the written content is very nicely written, from the small excerpt that I've seen so far.  You can reach the author on the following sites : Web Site, Instagram

Some Why and how....

I have been hearing good praise from this book as it came out later in the year and by the looks of it, is a pretty popular title as it is sold out in many places and was a pretty popular grab.  Well, now that I've got a physical copy in my hands, I can only say what a nice book.  It has a hard cover and the content is magnificent with very nice pictures.  I've always admired the content that the author writes on the different online platforms and really like the different articles that he writes either in the online world or articles for the magazine.  For the small part that I have read so far, I can't wait to dive more deeply into reading more of the content in this book. You can reach the author on the following platforms : Web Site, Instagram
