A workbench style that was designed by Andre Roubo, a French carpenter, cabinetmaker and author.
He wrote multiple volumes on the different aspects of the craft. He is also famous for a workbench design, referred to plate 41 and was brought back to life by Christopher Schwarz through different books.
The workbench can be described as a massive piece of wood and by consequence is really stable. It typically includes a sliding deadman, a leg vice and potentially other holding devices.
