H. O. Studley has been known because of his tool chest, originally published by the Taunton press as a poster. Lost Art Press has published a book and DVD that documents the detail of the workbench and too chest that was constructed by H. O. Studley during his living years.
Some information is known about the Studley family, but not much as the people did some research for the books, giving some background on the build of the chest and work bench.
One thing for sure, the construction of the toolchest is very detailed and very specific to a set of tools.
